May update
Dunbar Choral passed 3 significant milestones in May 2024.
We performed our final concert of the 2023/24 season with a celebration of Fauré (as it was the centenary of his death) a review should appear here soon.
We celebrated the 75th anniversary of the choir, founded as Dunbar and District Choral Society in 1949. Naturally no members have been singing since the start although some have sung in more than 40 concerts so we enjoyed a meal at Maitlandfield House Hotel, Haddington with members, former members and guests.
Finally, Dunbar Choral has ceased to be in its current form but Alberto Massimo, our MD, has plans to keep it going, so we wait for news from him in due course.
Alberto is planning to start rehearsals for Christmas 2024 on October 15th.
